Going to an event at
Wembley Stadium or Arena?

Stay in Wembley aims to provide practical information for visitors to events at Wembley Stadium and The Wembley Arena, including what's on listings, places to eat, travel and parking info, and an accommodation guide.

It's just over a year since the turnstiles of the new Wembley Stadium were turned for the first time. On 17 March 2007, 60,000 local residents came to 'road test' the facilities prior the relaunch of Britain's premier events venue.

24 March 2007 saw the first football fixture, England vs Italy under 21s. All 60,000 tickets sold out within hours.

The music gig which christened the Stadium was George Michael who, on 9 June 2007, played to a crowd of 90,000.

The construction of the new stadium was frought with controversy, going over budget and timetable by a considerable margin, and many people wondered whether it would ever be finished. However, that's now in the past. The new venue is safer, more comfortable and bigger than the old one, and an even more impressive landmark to boot.

Whatever you're doing at
Wembley, we hope you enjoy it!
